i am unemployed and i feel empty

today at 3:00 pm jim called me into his office, asked me
about when i was going to leave for school and told me it
was going to be moved up to today. basically i was fired,
but technically i was released to save some money. i have
no interests in life except my job, which made me suicidal
ironically, but now that i don't have that i feel empty.
i need some direction.

yes, i know elton wrote it for a guy, but i still think
