Sometimes it's so hard

Sometimes it's so hard to get a chance to get my entry done
in this diary! The baby is sleeping less during the day
and is not quite as easy to just set down and get to the
point of doing my diary. As it stands right now, he just
laid down in bed, passing gas as always, and his older
brother is due off of the bus in the next 5-10 minutes. I
guess he's just going to have to walk home, it's a
beautiful day anyway.
Over the weekend, I saw some things in my husband that I
absolutely adore. Hmmm, maybe that's not quite right. I
just saw different things in him and it just reaffirms why
I love him. (See, already the baby is grunting and
carrying on in his bed, he will probably be up soon!) My
husband bought some of the wood to do the framework to our
deck last week with a gift card that my parents gave him
for his birthday. He completed that part of the project.
Then he (unbeknownst to me) cashed in one of his savings
bonds to 'finish the deck'. After dinner Friday night we
went to Home Depot, he got more supplies, and by Sunday
afternoon, we had a deck! He worked most of Saturday until
we got a call that my brother had another seizure and my
parents needed our help. My Mom was working a festival on
Sixth Street, my Dad just got out of the hospital from knee
replacement surgery, so we needed to run interference and
pick up his stupid butt from the hospital again.
Gotta run, baby's crying!
