maybe you'll love me when i fade to blacc..

I dumbed down for my audience to double my dollars
They criticized me for it yet they all yell "HOLLA!"
If skills sold, truth be told, I'd probably be
lyrically, Talib Kweli
Truthfully I wanna rhyme like Common Sense
But I did five mill' - I ain't been rhymin like Common since
When your cents got that much in common
And you been hustlin since, your inception
Fuck perception go with what makes sense
Since I know what I'm up against
We as rappers must decide what's most impor-tant
And I can't help the poor if I'm one of them
So I got rich and gave back, to me that's the win/win
So next time you see the homey and his rims spin
Just know my mind is workin just like them...
... rims, that is- Moment Of Clarity

this entry is all about my man. now if u know me, u know
how much i absolutely LOVE ME SOME JAY-Z!!! i just got done
listening to the BLacc Album for about the 5011th time, and
i must say, i'm still in love with it. i reccomend his
albums to everybody. there is not one that i don't like. i
do have favorites though. (the blueprint, reasonable doubt,
the blacc album) but anyway..i always find myself defending
why i like him to people. and i really don't
understand how anybody can honestly say they're not feeling
him if they like Hip HOp music he's the best! well one of
them. he's my favorite
living artist. his lyrics are off the hook. thought
provoking even..the beats are on point, his flow is CRAZY
he's real..he talks
about shit i can relate to..i just can't say enuff. i
remember the first song i heard by him. Dead Presidents..i
was like 9or something..that could be wrong. but it was
about that time. anyway, it took me a while to really
understand it..but after i've been in love with him every
since. more so in the last 4 or 5 yrs..but he's always been
a great lyricist to me. he's stepped his game up since
then. and now..he's just. need i say more? i dont think so.
i'm disappointed that the blacc album is his last album.
but he is gettin old and although i love him to death i DO
NOT want to see him rappin at 45 yrs old. this was the best
last album he could've done though. and i'm proud of him.
he's accomplished alot, and he came from nothing. people
always say that they don't like him because he's conceited
or he brag too much. but damn that.. people can always say
what u would or wouldn't do in his situation, because ur
not in it. i'm glad he made it, and i'm not mad that he be
with his "beautiful BIatch in the bacc of that Bach"..he
deserves it. even though i don't like BEyonce..but
still..HE's my man..can't say enough about him. i think
from now on i'm going to add some of my favorite lyrics
from him in all of my entries...LOL if i don't forget.
here's a couple though..just cuzz i love the man.

I talk jewels and spit diamonds, all cherry
like a hymen, when I'm rhymin with remarkable timin
Caviar and silk dreams, my voice is linen
Spittin venom up in the, minds of young women
Mink thoughts to think thoughts type similar
Might you remember, my shit is col-l-l-ld like December
Smoother than Persian rugs, the cashmere
chromosomes make a nigga Jigga Jay-Z lethal drugs-Cashmere
Thoughts

For the millionth time askin me
Questions like Wendy Williams, harrassin me
then get upset when I catch feelings
Can I get a minute to breathe? And in that minute you
leave- A Million and One Questions
