Sun, april 20th
I woke up to the sound of birds chirping and the smell of
clean glass (actually the windex that had soaked my jeans).
It was about 6:00am and really nice out. I crawled out of
my cubby hole in my trunk and stretched a bit. I then
changed into some clean clothes (always pack an extra set
in the city cuz ya never know) and had a couple smokes
while strolling about central park for a few. I then took
some pics up and down the street of the sunlight waking up
on the city buildings and then went to the furthermost
Northern part of central park. I found a gas station there
and grabbed some coffee and a buttered roll. At this point
in time this was like filet mignon. I love Manhatten in the
early morning when I dont work. By the way...When I left
off in November I was working two jobs...things turned this
way and that and I decide that I was going crazy so I quit
working so much and since april 3rd only work on sunday.
Yep..one day a week. I payed rent until June 1st. Im not
worrying about bills just yet but by june I will find a
job. I just got so sick of spending my entire life working
like a maniac. I needed to stop everything. At first I was
really feeling like I was doing the wrong thing but now
that its been a month I see that it was the best move I
have ever made in my life. I needed to put my life in
perspective the way I needed to do it. So there I
was..early morning in the city eating a buttered roll along
central park..heaven.
I spent the rest of the day rollerblading around the
city and i met a friend of mine named donna at the
Metropolitan Museum of Art when they opened. Stolled about
the museum for a bit then she left and I went over to
central park and fell asleep in the grass for bout an hour
or so. Coming home I felt pretty good about life.
