Life, Or Something Like It

LonelyMud

It's 201pm. The sky is a certain sort of color I am unable
to describe. It's almost as if, the world were shaken all
about and the sky was drowning in the deep depths of an
ocean while at the same time on the verge of a
thunderstorm. I guess that is what a color looks like when
it's experiencing hiccups.

A few moments before class so I'll make this short.

I got the MUD up and running. Sort of. I can log in, and I
have a definitive address. It's not Circle, but that's
alright. There are a few hiccups that I need to sort out.
For example, there's only one freaking room in the
whole game.

I went to the municipal building and got my violation
sorted. I guess that's the end of that. I got to see a
glimpse of the court door. Pretty interesting. Pretty ...
big too. It's a double door made of wood featuring ornate
carvings. When closed, the door shape resembles a spear
head. I just had to pay a fine. I don't think any manner of
skill would have gotten me out of that one ... the clerk
was reading from a chart on the left. Not visible to me.

Well I will finish more of this later. I have class to get
to. I named the mud, LonelyMud. Just cause, I wasn't
feeling very creative and also.. there is only me and two
other people on there. When I say two other people, I mean
just two other characters owned by me.

So, three characters all owned by me. One room. ... Yea ...
That's pretty freaking lonely if you ask me. But we'll see
if I can get people to log in. The problem is, I'm not
quite sure if the tick is suppose to be that long. I mean,
I logged in from my computer, and it seemed slightly
sluggish. I guess ... we'll just have to see.

The irony is that I worked on this MUD project all
weekend ... neglecting all my other academic projects that
ACTUALLY COUNT.

Someone once told me that I didn't quite have my priorities
straight. Actually ... I'm beginning to believe them.
