profound discoveries

i haven't really made any profound discoveries lately. i'm
beginning to discover more and more that rearely in life
do you get what you deserve, wheather good or bad. that's
not exactly a profound discovery tho. it's more like
somehting the young and nieve learn as they get older.
apparently experiences do make you wiser :) i think the
degree of the morality in knowledge you earn is
questionable relative to the experience. (ie going to a
tanning bed might lead you on a cure for cancer or it
could increase your vanity-either way you learn
something.) no, i'm not the sort of optimist who believes
all experiences are good, even if i believe them to all be
valuable, but i am an optimist who believes all
experiences, while possibly unpleasant, will eventually
lead you to a better end. remember, nothing we ever learn
is wasted :) life will always be riddled with mistakes,
just as "the road to hell is paved with good intentions"
the key is not to avoid those mistakes for when you do you
miss an opportunity to learn, wheather it be about
yourself or something (even someone) else. it could change
your life. but let's face it, how well is our human race
at avoiding catastrophes??? (*i have just one word for
you... "Titanic"...need i say more?) i think the best way
to go through life is with as many mishaps as possible, at
least then you'd be keeping it interesting. then again, i
am no one to philosophise about life and how to take it. i
don't rate myself well enough to think i should be handing
out advice, most especially when i seem to need as much
for myself as possible. i'm just another one of our neive
youth who is just now discovering they weren't exagerating
in the least when they warned life was unfair. poor
bastards. lol. well, ne wayz...so much for profound
discoveries :)

***speaking of the Titanic...ALWAYS REMEMBER:

ametuers built the Ark, professionals built
the Titanic.
