My sometimes coherent thoughts

Whewwww

Just finished one doozy of a test ... my brain is FRIED!
I'm pretty confident that I did well, but it sure was all
encompassing - from questions regarding the health
insurance industry (sp. Medicare) which has been the basis
of this model (all in lecture format for the past TWO WEEKS
since the module started!), then coding excercises covering
both the CPT and ICD-9 combined and then a case scenario
which involved coding and filling in the claim form. Even
though I missed two days of lectures (not in a row of
course) I don't feel as if it did too much harm in the way
of the knowledge I needed for this exam. I mean we've been
filling out claim forms and doing intense coding for the
past 2 module, so it's actually more of an enforcement of
applying what we've been doing along with what we've
recently learned.

Well, I was just given the results of my last test (the
which I was initially absent for but was allowed to retake
on Monday) - a B , hmmph! Not too good! But I may be able
to improve it a little because one of the answers that I
was marked incorrect for may actually be right. Our sub-
instructor suggested I speak to our instructor next week
when he returns, so I shall.

Oh, Harry got the check from his accident for the total
loss of his car - $4500! That's damn good! And then of
course there's still the final settlement to come ...

What else ... well, guess not much. Looking forward to
sleeping in a bit tomorrow ... then getting my mani/pedi
which I technically should not be doing, but WHAT THE
HELL ... you only live once ...

so I shall sign off for now anyway ...
THANK YOU GOD FOR EVERYTHING AS ALWAYS - WITHOUT YOU NO
THING IS POSSIBLE ... NO GOD, NO PEACE; KNOW GOD, KNOW
PEACE!
