Contemplating Lenten Resolutions

The Church calendar is busy this week.

Tomorrow is Shrove Tuesday. The church is having a pancake
supper and pancake race but this one I'm skipping. I will be
making pancakes for breakfast tomorrow. Choir practice has
been cacelled.

On Wednesday the church will be open from 3p.m. - 6 p.m. for
the imposition of ashes and communion. I will do that.

On Thursday (and on every Thursday during Lent) there will
be covenant dinner from 6:30 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. and I will do
that too.

Sunday's sermon was about Lenten resolutions and I've spent
some time today thinking about mine. I want to include all
three facets--giving, praying and fasting and I'll write
more about what I've chosen tomorrow.
