anyway

i have eaten un ungodly amount of chocolate this weekend.
it's a good thing i plan on getting in a good workout
tomorrow at the Rec. there's so little time. i bought
Guster tickets the other night, so I'll be seeing them in
STL on the 27th. and then hopefully on the 28th i'll make
it up to Iowa City to see Megan pole vault in the Big Ten
Championships. i miss Megan. she has such a strange sense
of humor. i suppose i'm not one to talk. i miss her funky
dance. i miss the way she says "okay" when i bring up an
appealing idea. i think that i want it to be summer for
eternity. i miss Colleen. i miss hearing 311 in her Saturn
on breezy summer nights in N.C. i miss hearing her sing and
play guitar. i miss her hair- it always smells pretty. i
miss my buddy Curt. i feel bad that i didn't go out to
dinner with him and the rest of my dudes and dudettes the
other night. i needed a shower much too badly. and i had no
money. i miss the way he sounds so excited when he says my
name. i miss my boyfriend, but i'll see him on Tuesday.
Geoff, i miss Geoff. i miss the way he waves when he turns
the corner of my hallway after we've said goodnight to
eachother. i miss falling asleep with him, and talking to
him. or talking to him after we've both been asleep for
awhile and then wake up for some reason. we always say the
strangest things to eachother in the middle of the night. i
miss my sister, strangely enough. i miss the way she
doesn't brush her hair after she's slept with it up in a
messy pony tail. i miss the way she calls me Kat. i miss my
cousin Jenny. i miss her slightly-Southern accent and the
way i can rest my chin on her head 'cause she's so much
shorter than i am. i miss lots of people. i'm in a good
mood, really, though, cause i had a fun weekend, and i have
more fun things planned for myself this week. i'm just
thinking about people. anyway, i should go get some work
done or something. i was inspired this weekend to write
more poetry, so maybe next time i'll have something more
interesting.
