this song isn't good enough
it isn't good enough for them
too bad it's the best i can do
that's all i can do in the end
it's too late for changes
it's too late to rearrange again
it's to late for angels
i'm in the red instead

haha that's crap, but it was my idea for last night. i like
the "it's too late for angels" and the ambiguity of
the "i'm in the red instead" but apart from that, it's a
pile of poo.
i dread to think how many songs i have written - it is in
the hundreds at the very least i'd imagine. i have been
writing lyrics for so long - it started off as my own rap
lyrics when i was about 12. when i got into Nirvana, i
started using lots and lots more metaphors, and when i
started listening to Radiohead i started utilising space,
and minimalist lyrics.
i like to think i have my own song-writing style and refuse
to believe that it is impossible to be original. i tell
people to be original in their songwriting and they inform
me that it is impossible - just try harder!
we have enough songs about being dumped in the world! i
don't want to know about the events, just the feelings!
compare your feelings to gruesome surgical operations! just
HAVE NO LIMITS! this is the philosophy i use the most when
i write songs.
i am disappointed in myself for that poem - luckily, i have
a big rock and roll wig!
it was called an "Alice Cooper Wig" so obviously i had to
buy it - i am now dressing as Alice Cooper for this fancy
dress party and i figured this would help a lot. i need
some of the eye make-up now.
it should rule.
