my stupid mouth

they fought the law and the law won!

ty law, that is.

i have to write before the excitement wears off, though i
doubt it will for at least the next two weeks. so
incredible! the patriots won! that was their best game
(besides the superbowl) that i've ever seen. they
completely sht down the colts' offense...they intercepted
peyton manning 4 times! he hadn't been intercepted in
either of the other two playoff games, and i don't think he
had many during the regular season either. and ty law had
3 of those interceptions! and if you don't count bethel
johnson's fumble (which is forgivable considering the great
season he's had) or brady's interception (which is
forgivable since it was his only interception at home all
season), the offense played fairly well, too. only to
complaints: they need to take advantage of their time in
the red zone...we need more touchdowns rather than field
goals. also, what the heck was brady thinking when he ran
the ball and almost fumbled it instead of just having
vinatieri kick a field goal that would've been 5 yards
longer. tom almost lost the ball, and he stopped running
when he saw thr defender coming at him. that's not very
manly! and adam would've made it from 5 yards further out
anyway.

the whole game was so, so exciting! there were times when
i was literally having trouble breathing because i got so
into it. and cristin called me about 5 times, and we were
both in hysterics because of the thrill of the game. i
love games like that. and i'm almost glad i was home to
watch it because i got to see all of the critical plays and
ll the stats as well.

this will make for an excellent superbowl party provided
history doesn't repeat itself. i had grand ideas last
year, too, and it didn't turn out as great as i thought it
would. i guess things are different this year but still.
who cares, though? the pats are going to houston!

and we can beat carolina; i just know it. i was almost
hoping for a philly win just so that jeff would be wrong in
his picks...he predicted a pats/panthers superbowl when the
playoffs first started, which is incredible because few
people thought the panthers would win. let's just hope the
panthers aren't the pats from 2 years ago (aka- the
underdogs who beat the favored team to win the superbowl).

lindsay came over tonight. we had another "hot tub
discussion," meaning in the hot tub, not about hot tubs.
it's nice to haev the time to do that. although i feel bad
about not wanting to make taryn feel bad and making her
possiby feel bad in the process. maybe i try to protect
people's feelings too much, and it may be unnecessary. who
knows?
