Just My Life

Ahhhhh.... I'm going to be up all night tonight because
I've been slacking for the past few days and not doing the
homework I've supposed to have been doing. I'm taking an
exam in CISCO tomorrow and I haven't even looked at the
chapter... Here's an excerpt:

In 1985, the Institute of Electrical and Electronics
Engineers (IEEE) standards committee for Local and
Metropolitan Networks published standards for LANs. These
standards start with the number 802. The standard for
Ethernet is 802.3. The IEEE wanted to make sure that its
standards were compatible with the International Standards
Organization (ISO)/OSI model. To do this, the IEEE 802.3
standard had to address the needs of Layer 1 and the lower
portion of Layer 2 of the OSI model. As a result, some
small modifications to the original Ethernet standard were
made in 802.3.

That's just one paragraph out of a whole chapter. ARG! And
this is all online so I copied and pasted it, I'm not such
a looser that I'd type all that out. I am so going to fail
college.

Speaking of college, I forgot to put in here that I've
been accepted to CMU. Yes, this is a big deal to me since
my grades usually suck. So now all I have to do is figure
out how I'll afford to go there. Whoopie.

Umm... bowling on Sun. night with friends which went
pretty well. I won with a very pathetic score, like 90
something I think. Someone needs to show Becky how to
bowl. She doesn't understand that you're not supposed to
let go of the ball when your arm reaches eye level. Also,
Michelle needs to watch where her ball goes and not turn
around right after she lets go of the ball and walk away.
That bothers me to no end. Overall it was a good night,
but we only played one game then went home.

The ladies at the library are funny. One time I'm working
and I hear an "Oh cripes." I turn around and there's an
ameture web cam site on the computer she's using. It took
her a pretty long time to close it too. I also heard that
one time it was pretty quiet in the library with a lot of
people there and one of the ladies yelled out, "SHIT!" but
I'm not sure why. Keep in mind there are a lot of
innocent, vergin ears where I work. That's what makes it
funny. I don't like children much. I keep forgetting to
mention that we named our carts downstairs. We have
basically 3 main carts that we keep behind the desk to
organize books on then put them away with so each of us
got to name a cart. Our names are Gonzie, Alfred, and
Digby. I named Digby because I knew some people would get
a kick out of it and I couldn't come up with anything
better.

Thoughts, comments? Please fill out a service card so that
I may be of better entertainment quality. After all, this
is just my life.
