Harmony... Or Something Like It

Ah... Back to the calm and near serenity that is my
homelife in Dover. Nothing happened when I came home,
which is good. I really wasn't in the mood for an
argument or anything when I came back. I think we just
needed some time to cool off, take a break from one
another, and regroup. So yes, everything is back to
normal... Well, as near as normal as we're going to get.

So I went up to school yesterday and I registered for
classes. And I went really really late to register too.
Long story, don't ask... But, I got my wish, which was to
go only on Tuesdays and Thursdays. I do have one class on
Friday, but, it's only once a week, and it's only 50
minutes. So I can deal with that. So here's my new
roster for Spring Semester 2004

Tuesday & Thursday 10:00-11:50 Principals of Management
(starts in March)

Tuesday & Thursday 1:00-2:50 Math

Business Law Online don't have to come in at all for that

Friday 10:00-10:50 Career and Life Planning

A really easy schedule. No more going in everyday,
especially for math, which really drives me crazy. Plus
with the math class, instead of having 50 minutes to try
and do all those tests, I have an hour and 1/2 to do
them. That way I don't feel all rushed and flustered. I
probably should have done that from the door last
semester, but I didn't think about it. Hindsight... Oh
well...

I have to go in Monday though and give Linda my schedule.
I know she's probably going to have me working up there
every chance she can get. I hope she's aware that I can
still only work 12 hours a week. I know I have more free
time this semester, but those were the hours I was given
by the school. Plus I only have something like 186 hours
left to work before that part of my grant is used up.
That's not a lot of time. So she's going to have to calm
down or else she'll end up loosing me mid-semester, which
would suck for everyone.

But ah... This is just the way my roster should be. Only
come in a few times a week. And shoot, until that
mangment class starts in March, I don't even have to be up
at school until 1 in the afternoon. Ah... Relaxation...
Well, that's probably not true. I know I'm probably going
to have to do an assload of papers this semester. And
because I'm worried about my slacker nature, I'm going to
have to make sure I get all that work done for my online
class and stay on top of everything with that class. It's
going to take some serious discipline. I know I can do it
though, I loved the grades I got this semeter and I was to
recapture that. Mmm... 3.14 GPA... Glaaaaaaaaahhhhh....

Well, I'm just about nearly done with the Alpha version of
my Esther dress. Last night I was cursing at the sewing
machine and the dress really hard though. Even Honey was
like "don't hold back." But it wasn't my fault. The
stupid fabic was acting all goofy. I tried four times to
sew up the right side of that outfit and it was just a
mess, but I finally did it. All that remains to be done,
is to add the sleeves and find some shiny bias tape
or... *shudders....* ribbon, and finding some damn
buttons, sew that stuff on and ta-da, instant Esther.
Plus I still have to remake the collar and the habit and
because satin fray's really horribly, I'm going to
overlock the edges of the inside of the dress. I don't
know if that will stop it from fraying, but at least it's
better then sitting there waiting for the dress to fray to
death.

I still don't know about Katsucon. J'aime said it still
up in the air. I would like to go though. I swear I'd
sell my first born to go (You'll go where your told!).
There's some other cons that look like they're going to be
fun, but I'd really really love to go to Katsucon.
Actually that's what I asked for, for my birthday in two
weeks. I need to get Mom to reserve the hotel for us just
in case J'aime can come out. I don't think the Hayatt has
sold out, but I'd better check to be sure.

*Yawn...*

Man I'm sleepy. I have lots of stuff to do today though.
I have to undeck the halls and finish up with this dress
today. Well. I'd better get craking....

Woo-hoo: Ah, back to the wonderful world of bliss.
Praise the Lord Jesus.

Barf: Nanimonai. It's about damn time!

Current Song: Big Life's Cry from the Street Fighter 2
Movie.
