A good start

Well, it looks like I can finally get back onto my diary
now.

Ok, so what's new?

So far, this year is off to a pretty good start. I found out
yesterday that I'm receiving a Bronze Quill award for
writing. That's my third now.

Got a call from Darin yesterday as well. Exit One Eighty,
which has been defunct for a year now, got a call to play
a show, and Ernie and Darin want me to rejoin them.
This could be interesting, and fun, but it also means the
vacation is over. I haven't played music since last
February. Have to go relearn all the songs I wrote. We
have less than a month the get ready for the show.

Also found out yesterday that the Mets are finally
interested in acquring Vladimir Gurrerro--yay! Hopefully
they can do it, but I'm not going to hold my breath.

Nathan is staying with us right now. His heat is out and
it's cold in his house. Always fun to hang out with him.

Apparently the gang all went and had sushi last night at
Sushi Fever (Reg and I were too broke to go) and had a
really bad experience with the food and the service. For
the record, I wasn't too fond of that place to begin with.
Possible options: Reg suggested Blue Wave in Green
Valley -- all you can eat for $12.95. Nathan also knows
a place closer to him that is really good and affordable,
yet may be too small for large groups.

I have to edit the entire magazine tonight, so it'll be
coffee and corrections for me!
