The conspiracy for $

All day, today I felt like I had been walking around in
some mystical world where weddings are far too popular.
Only, I was walking around, and living in reality. To
start off the day I went to work and my co-worker started
talking about how he and his girlfriend attended a
friend's wedding this weekend and some other graphic
details that will remain censored.

I disregarded the M talk and moved on with life. AFter
work, my roommate and I went to "study" at Barnes and
Noble, but ended up spliting to check out books. I went
my merry little way to the big Beatles book at the front
and opened it to the middle where the picture I turned to
was, Ringo and Maureen's wedding photo. Cute, and scary
all at the same time.

Then I went to the music section and checked out some cds,
I was listening to Sarah Brightman (don't ask) and turned
around to see that "wedding favourites" were featured on
the rack behind me. I continued my music selecting and
went left the music section to head for the Christian
books section. I randomly looked to my left and there was
the Wedding Planning books section.

I giggled and walked on to the Christian book section. I
would have guessed I was in the Christian Marriage section
or something with all of the married couples books I found
as I searched for something to catch my eye. So I
jokingly said, "Are you trying to tell me something God?"

I met my roommate and got ready to leave but wanted to
check out the magazines, just so happens the aisle I came
out of to the mag section was right in front of the
wedding magazines.

So we eventually left and went to Albertson's for
groceries. Why are wedding cakes out in the open like
advertising? I mean its not like its summer. But anyhow,
I once again thought it was funny.

Finally, we got back home and I logged online. Guess
what's AIM today, Gwenyth Paltrow and Chris Martin got
married. I wasn't even thinking about marriage today, and
it tickled me at every corner.

I wonder...is the ol' green buck striking up
advertising/focus group planning for weddings which cost a
pretty penny? Or is there some conspiracy following me?
(either way, I found it comical)
