(Lunchbox) Show at Alpharetta Community Center w/ IPS

So, we played with IPS a few weeks ago, and they asked us
to come and play this show. Along with them, Ruckspin and
another band called All That's Left played as well.
Ruckspin and All That's Left rocked out.. both of them were
very energetic, and they both had excellent pop-punk
songs.. we were pretty impressed. Check both of them out
at www.ruckspin.tk/# and www.allthatsleft.com .. and of
course, IPS at www.ipsmusic.com .. they were all cool guys,
and treated their fans accordingly... So, we opened up the
show, of course, in good style.. We were a little
different, stylistically, being that all three of the other
bands were more pop-punk.. and I'm not sure what we are.
Anyway, we had a lot of fun, played a 30-minute set, um,
the usual, Blue Sunday, Little Cloud Dog, Bleeding
Absolutes, Drama for Dummies, Arcade Parade (not usual),
Clang with an E. I had a little moment where I danced with
Mark from IPS, and Alison got a shot of me jumping
backwards doing a split, not a pretty sight. Seth, of
course, rocked out, jumped off of his amp twice, spun the
guitar once.. I think I'm about to start trying that little
trick there.. yeah. We had a good response from the crowd,
even though I think most of them weren't really into our
style of music... Ruckspin played next, and they rocked
out, even though one of their members wasn't there cause of
the flu or something, and then All That's Left from
Hollywood, Fl got up and rocked.. it was cool, they had a
lot of jumping.. and then IPS took over the stage.. it was
awesome, by far the best show of theirs we've been to.
They had tons of energy, and you could tell it was their
home crowd, cause a lot of people were singing the songs..
Seth and Sarah both crowdsurfed, there was a lot of
moshing, and Seth slid across the floor one time too..
After the show, Mark substituted his head for one of our
mannequin heads.. pretty funny guy, that Mark. Also, he
took off in the '72 dodge at one point.. and it looks like
we're going to try and set up a tour with IPS.. they are
awesome guys, and we have a lot of fun chillin' with
them... yep..
Afterwards, of course, we made it to a Steak and Shake...
rockin' stuff.
