" Hi Marci, it's Tiff!" My best friend said with never-
ending cheer in her voice. If there was a single person in
the world created just to be a cheerleader it would have
to be Tiffany. Tiffany happened to be my best friend of 16
years, ever since the first day of preschool when we'd
both discovered our love for people. And up through high
school when we'd both discovered our love for cheerleading.
" Oh hey Tiffany, what are you up to?" I asked as I pulled
out a single sheet of paper that was stuffed in the
envelope.
" Actually I just got off the phone with Brent Micheals."
Tiffany said with a very mysterious giggle. " And he asked
me if I was doing anything today! Isn't that great?"
Tiffany asked excitedly.
" Yeah that's wonderful Tiff! I am so happy for you." I
replied with a smile. Practically everyone in the school
knew how much Tiffany wanted football stud Brent Michaels
to ask her out.
" So you don't mind that I am breaking our plans?" Tiffany
asked with nothing short of a plead in her voice.
" Of course not." I said. " I know how much you like him,
just be sure to call me tomorrow and tell me all the
details okay?"
" You really are a pal Marci, I'll talk to you tomorrow."
Tiffany said. I hung up the phone with a smile on my
face, I suppose if he's what she wants than it's okay I
thought. I turned my attention back to the slip of paper
that I had taken out of the envelope. I unfolded it and
read it with a frown on my face. "Huh?" I said aloud. The
slip of paper read:
