I feel so much better than I did last night.

Before I went to the said party on Tuesday, I was about
three blocks away from David's house and I stopped at the
Jack in the Box right there on Genesee and Derrick and I
was going to call David and get exact directions to his
place when the unthinkable happened: I locked my keys out
of my car. To make matters worse, I had left everything in
the car. Wallet, driver's liscence, EVERYTHING. Not
wanting to call my step-dad and feel the wrth of Armando
at 11 pm, I called 1-800-CHEV-USA since it was on the
sticker on my car and waited for road side assistance.
After an hour, the towtruck guy came, busted out the slim
jim and unlocked my car. All fine and dandy. I went to
David's party, and didn't think anything of it, except
that I was going to have to get reimbursed for the $40 I
had to pay out of my own wallet because I couldn't call my
own insurance company at the time.

So last night, after taking my brother Jamie to watch
Freddy vs Jason (and it was everything I had expected),
and when we drove home, my brother was trying to lock the
door on the passenger's side. he was holding the handle up
when trying to shut the door, but I told him not to
because that wasn't the correct way to close it. When he
shut it with the handle was down, and opened it back up
again, we both noticed it. The lock on the passenger's
side was shut, but the car door WAS NOT locking, hence the
car door was not locking. Then I remembered. It was the
PASSENGER'S SIDE that the tow truck guy broke into. Oooh I
was so pissed. I mean wouldn't you be? After getting the
car in your name, just changing insurance poloies, and
dropping all this cash on your car to have something like
THIS happen?

I cleaned out my car of any valuables went home (even
though I have an alarm, that wasn't going to change the
fact that someone could still just open the door and get
away with my stuff, espcially when I have to run down a
flight of stairs and across the street just to get to my
car). I found the reciept from the tow truck company, but
I couldn't find the AAA card that my parents gave me in
case of an emergency. The tow truck company has AAA for
their insurance so I thought it would help. I remembered I
left it on my computer desk. I looked all over the desk
and found nothing. I looked in the kitchen on the table.
Nothing. I was so mad I wanted to throw something.
Anything. A ball. I wanted to throw a big rubber ball that
kids use in dodge ball against the wall and have it hit me
in the face and knock me out for being such a fool.

Unfortunately, I didn't have a ball availible, so I did
the next best thing. I turned on some techno and started
to clean my room. Very slowly, and very meticulously, the
more I concentrated on it, the less stressed I felt about
the whole situtation. I cleaned for long that night I
think it could have passed a military inspection. By this
morning, I was feeling a lot better. I called my insurance
company and reported the incident. They assured me that
everything was going to be alright, and my rates weren't
going to be raised and everything was going to be
reimbused and taken care of. After that I felt like a big
heavy wieght was lifted off my chest.

Now I'm in a good mood. And pround of myself that I took
care of this so repsonsibly.

Joy.
