Well, I ve just been to see The..

Well, I've just been to see The Superjesus again. This is
the fourth time I've seen them, and I have to say they just
get better everytime. I took Danny along because Skulker
were the supporting act, and he's been hanging out to see
them live for ages.

Skulker took the stage at about 10:00, and blew me the fuck
away. I never knew that chicks could rock that hard. They
were complete entertainers, putting on a real show. Their
songs are so catchy that you can't help but bop along, and
they've got some pretty clever harmonies and melodies in
all their tunes. Plus the bass player is wicked hot. I'm
definately going to have to invest in one of their CD's in
the near future.

Superjesus took the stage at about 11:00 and I've never
seen them so hardcore. They rocked like not many bands I've
ever seen. When they started playing Gravity the crowd went
absolutely nuts. Shut My Eyes & Sandfly also went down a
right treat. Sandfly & Gravity were as heavy as balls, and
Sandfly had a rip-snorter 5 minute solo. The new lead
guitarist is a complete fiend. Sarah was jumping around
like a maniac, standing on the foldbacks like a rock
goddess and posing for photos mid-song, it was quite
entertaining. At about 12 they went off stage and I assumed
it was the end, so I nicked the setlist from Sarah's
foldback. About a minute later they came back on stage and
played a totally rocking accoustic song (proably off the
new album coz I didn't recognise it. Note to self, buy the
new album) and Stuart played guitar, he had a killer solo
and the crowd thought it was pretty cool. After that song
they got their heavy guitars out again and Sarah noticed
that her set list was missing. "Some bastard stole my set
list. Good thing we play the same songs every night", haha,
it was me!!!!

They finished off the set with Ashes & Down Again, the
perfect end to a thrilling set. Definately their best form
that I've seen.
