Life is but a dream...

AlL aBoUt Me...

~Hello all. I'm Amy, but all of my friends call me Aims.
I'm 18 years old and to tell you a little about myself, I
guess you could say that I'm an endless dreamer. I look
to
horoscopes and dreams to answer all of my prayers. I'm
but
one girl who loves to chase my wildest dreams and pray
with
all of my heart that one day, they will all come true. I'm
probably the only girl almost anyone knows who has had
quite an infatuous crush on a guy for 11 years of her
life,
and never gotten the chance to be with him. Lucky for me,
I've been blessed with many friends who have been there
for
me when I needed them and helped me through the rough
parts
of my life. The guy in my life that I have been in love
with for 11 years happens to be my neighbor. Yes, I'm
victim to the falling-in-love-with-the-boy-next-door
syndrome. It all started when I was 8 years old and he
kissed me. If he hadn't kissed me that day, I probably
wouldn't be in love with him now, but God had a reason for
that, and I suppose I'll find out what that is soon
enough.
Once again, I thank God for blessing me with the close
friends that He blessed me with because without them, I
really don't know where I would be today. Anyway, with
all
this talk of true love, love at first sight, fate, and
chasing your dreams, I believe that people make their own
destinies. Fate only brings a person so far, and then
once
they're there, it's up to them to make it happen. This is
where I need to learn to take my own advice. There are so
many things inside me telling me that I need to face up to
my fears, dig down deep inside myself for the courage, and
just tell Joe how I feel, but I can't bring myself to do
it. I've been chasing him for so long that it's just
gotten ridiculous to do anything about it now. I'm
driving
myself nutzo over it, but since he has a girlfriend, I
suppose that's all I can do. But anyway, back to the
whole
love thing. I don't believe in love at first sight.
Because if you think about it, that love is entirely
superficial and it has no substance. Without knowing the
person for who they are, then there's no way that you can
say that you love them. You are in love with their
appearance, and that's not love. About true love, yes,
that exists. There is one other person in this world that
we are all meant for, and we are meant to find them, and
spend the rest of our lives with them. Unfortunately, not
everyone finds their true love, and they just have to end
up settling for the next best thing. Or, in another
situation, they find their true love, but they don't know
it and they let the oppurtunity just up and pass them by,
and then by necessity, they have to settle for the next
best thing, not knowing that at one point in their life,
they could've had what was destined for them. Well, until
the next entry, find someone who loves you, and you love
them for who they are, and hold on tight. Don't let them
go. They just could be your special someone. Let me
quote
myself from one of my songs:

"All I can tell you now
Is to hold on
To the one that loves you
Forever on."

That's from my song "Inside Out" and it's the truth.
You're lucky to find love, so when you find it, hold on
for
dear life, give it everything inside of you, and thank God
for blessing your life.

Until next time,

~Love Life Eternity~
