Count down to Freedom

As of today (Friday, June 13, 2003) I have only 110 days
until I turn 17. 110 days until I get my freedom. Jason
and I are planning on moving out into apartments. It's
$480.00 a month for a 1 bedroom and $520.00 a month for a 2
bedroom. That includes water. Plus we get a dishwasher,
fridge, and a range (stovetop and oven). Well, we're
getting the 2 bedroom and we're sharing the place with a
good friend of ours, Rocky. Rocky is fucking awesome!
He's an easy going kinda guy and he's really nice. All
I've ever had to do is ask. He is 19 so if Jason's dad
doesn't want to sign for us to rent one then Rocky can for
sure. It'll be way easier to have a 2 bedroom apartment
with 3 people living in it. That way we will all have a
lot more spending/saving money cuz we will all pay a
certain amount! I told him not to be afraid when he finds
the accasional pentagram hanging on the wall. He also said
he didn't mind that me and Jason want to have kittens!
We're getting a calico and a black cat and then they can
have babies!!! This is really going to kick ass! I can't
wait!

As for my mom and step dad...My mom is sad and she doesn't
want me to go. One minute she's bitching at me and we're
fighting and I told her that she wouldn't have to put up
with me for very much longer cuz I was leaving. Then she
says well you're doing it without my help. And then the
next day she's sad about it and doesn't want me to go. And
she wants to try harder to make this work between us all.
She hasn't cared enough to make it work the past few years
so why start now that I'm old enough to take care of
myself?! And my step dad...He coudn't care less.
Sometimes I think that he tries to drive me crazy so I'll
get pissed and leave as soon as I can. He wants me to. He
doesn't want to put up with me anymore. I don't know...I
think that we'd all get along better if I moved out. We
wouldn't have to put up with each other everyday so when we
did see each other it might actually be nice. I think it's
for the best and my friend Erica thinks so too. Her and
her mom get along just fine now. We'll see what happends...

Until then, blessed be...
-Peace
