Flying without wings

mood: euphoric
song of the moment: Rabbit hole by Living Legends
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I live in my own little world; it's okay, they know me here.
The beauty of living in your own little world is that you
know everybody and that, for the most part, their actions
are predictable. I think most of us, in some way, live in
our own little world. We're so consumed by the trialities
of our own daily existence that we become consumed by them.
Our actions are dictated by them. Our speech is affected by
them and most of all, our thought processes are controlled
by them. I think being crazy is probably quite nice, unless
one of your personalities is self-destructive. Then, that
can be slightly problematic. But for the most part, crazies
don't need to worry about pesky day to day life. Just revel
in your lunacy I say. You get nice padded furniture (now
that's custom upholstery), meals brought to you (and who
doesn't like jello?), preplanned activities and day trips.
Who needs to worry about bills, and life and romances when
you can just sit there, vapid. Plus, no need to do laundry
(it's done for you), you get to don a lovely drab grey
outfit (everybody looks like shit in it so that's okay) and
the best part, counselling with a doctor who probably needs
more help than you. Of course, I doubt I'd survive in
nuthouse. While i am extremely lazy and unmotivated, I
occasionally do need to be engaged on a most basic level.
