Sandra's visit

Hi everyone, sorry for the delay.

as the title suggests, sandra came for a visit. she was supposed to
arrive on the 15th, but she and gwen decided to suprise me by
having her show up a day early, at about 12:30am wednesday
(technically thursday, but who's counting?)

she was talking about my expression and my reaction for the
whole time she was here. it went something like

*door knock*

*me asleep thinking that i didn't actually hear a door knock*

*door knock*

*me vaugly more awake, assuming that it is one of my neighbors'
doors*

*door knock*

*me more asleep, thinking that there IS no knock, and that it's
somehow part of my dream*

*phone ring*

me: (groggy, sleepy voice) hello?

sandra: hi baby, what's up?

me: it's...(check time) one in the morning...

sandra: i know...um...open your door?

me: (thinking that something is horribly wrong with gwen) Why,
what's going on?

sandra: just open it...

me: (opening the door and seeing here there, not quite
recognizing her until i see that she has a phone in her hand. she
speaks an i realize who it is. i hug her) What are you doing here?
(still sleepy voice) it's one in the morning....

sandra: suprise!!

me: hehe....(long pause, as i'm still rediculously tired)

anyway, she slept with me, no there was no funny business, we
just snuggled and tried not to push each other out of bed...i have a
twin, and because of the drawers and such underneath it, it's about
three feet off the ground.

the rest of her time here was great. that weekend, i took her to the
beach...a total of 8 hours (four there and four back). since she had
come across the mountains in the night, she hadn't been able to
see them yet, and since she is from Michigan, she had never seen
them before. she was "ooh"ing and "ahh"ing the whole way there.
and then we got to the beach, and she put her foot in the water...i
snapped a photo, and it's i think my favorite picture of her ever.
she's bent over and has this laugh/scream on her face as she
reacts to how COLD the water is.

yesterday we went to leavanworth, a little tourist-y Bavarian style
villiage in the middle of the mountains...again, sandra was
completly awe-struck. it was really cute.

other than that, we didn't do a whole lot of traveling, classes are
getting pretty busy...and by "pretty busy" i mean that it's insane.
there's so much that has to be done...*l* even so, i'd gladly be a
little bit behind if it means getting to hang out with her.

we watched a bunch of movies, and sandra got gwen completly
addicted to Queer as Folk. i thought it was kind of good, but gwen
went nuts over it.

the movies we watched were UHF, which was cool, Zoro: The Gay
Blade, which is one of mine that sandra fell in love with (you have
never heard of the ships of the field? the little...baa baa baa's?),
and last night sandra and i stayed up until 2am watching MST3K:
Agent for H.A.R.M. (he maintains and apliance! *screams James
Bond theme*)

the one major downside is that while i was out the night before
last, Krysta apparently called looking for me...Sandra picked up
and talked to her...She told Krysta that she was spending some
time with me, and that she was having so much fun, and that i told
her (sandra) that i loved her, which is true...but now i have to live
with that. i don't know what the future holds. sandra is right now
on her flight home...in fact she should be arriving in Detroit within
this hour. she's said that she'll be back, and i believe her, but i
don't know when that will be. i also don't know if she'll want a
relationship with me if/when she DOES return, i am pretty sure that
she won't want to move to washington to have that
relationship...though she did say that the state was so beautiful
that she was tempted to...meanwhile, krysta, who has been telling
me in almost every email that she sends (sent? :-( ) that she
(krysta) and i WERE going to be bf/gf, is left out of the loop.

i told her that there really wasn't going to be a chance of a
relationship until she turns 18 (which is a big part of why i didn't
start dating her right away), but i'm afraid that she won't even want
to be friends with me anymore...and i very much want that, at the
very least.

on the other hand, now krysta and sandra have met, and from what
sandra said they sort of got along, under the curcumstances...

*sigh* hopefully things will sort themselves out...in a positive way...
