she says she ashamed.

if anyone appreciates the christopher guest films as much
as i do, they should definitely go check out the most
recent addition to the collection, "a mighty wind." it did
not replace "spinal tap" as my favorite, but it was very
good.

and i say good morning to mother's day and hope for it's
departure just as soon. it is always a let down when the
amount of work contributed is not appreciated. when all
the wishful thinking is smashed to the ground. and i guess
she didn't mean any harm, but it is such a delicate
situation. something that needs to be handled with care.
consider the eggshell.

so, i guess now is as good a time as any to tell a little
story. she had been drinking. by my house. yet, she
decided to return to the home 30 minutes in the other
direction. she dozed off after reaching a mere 80-or-so
mph. her car ended up on its roof. she was transported to
jail where it was made clear to her how much she
jeopardized her life by making that one little decision.
it was so hard for me to be supportive because i was so
angry. how could she have been so selfish? she should
have been dead, under the circumstances. she should be
dead. and of course i am thankful she's not, but i am
still so angry. you should have seen that car.
