All That I Am

Mary Had a Little Lamb and The Doctor Fainted

"When I was a kid my favorite relative was Uncle Caveman.
After school we'd all go play in his cave, and every once
in a while he would eat one of us. It wasn't until later
that I found out that Uncle Caveman was a bear."
--Jack Handey, Deep Thoughts

He he! I thought that was funny as hell. Gotta love kids so
trusting and so stupid. There may be a deeper meaning to
that quote but when I first read it I only saw the humor in
it so maybe I just have a twisted sense of humor....with
kids getting eaten by bears and all.

I was going to work today and as I was getting in my
cadillac grill I was serenaded by the blood curdling scream
of a kid fighting with his mom as she's dragging him to
car. It was a sight to behold as the kid kept flopping down
on the ground going limp as she tried to hurl him into the
van. Lol, I personally thought it was funny...mainly
because that's not my brat but if it was I would probably
be going for the nearest tree branch to beat the holy hell
out of that little shit.

I've always said that one day when I'm older, in my early
30's perhaps, I would want to have kids but I'm kinda iffie
on the subject. Kids are so much work and you have to give
up so much of your time and energy in raising one. The only
pro's I can think of would be to carry on the bloodline (a
sense of immortality if you will) and to brainwash your own
little minion that one day will hopefully take care of you
when your old and decrepid. Sounds lovely doesn't it. I've
never been a kid person. I'm good with kids for the most
part, they tend to gravitate toward me because I think I
give off mellow vibes but that's other people's kids, to
actually have my own to attend to 24/7 I don't know I would
have to develop a lot of patience in the next decade or so.
Things change though and again the idea of having kids is
nice but I'm one who never strays too far from reality and
the reality is kids are a lot of work and a lot of stress
and I hate stress.

These two quotes are hilarious especially the second one
because that is EXACTLY how I feel most of the time, lol:

"Children should be like waffles--you should be albe to
throw the first one away."
--Mary Alice Messenger

"I love children, especially when they cry, for then
someone takes them away."
--Nancy Mitford

Well, that's all for now. Later.
