April 5, 2003....11:44 PM 44 Days Left

Dear Journal,
I'm getting better at the writing mmore often thing. I
was going to write on the fourth, which was yesterday so I
should have just said yesterday and not watse time but oh
well moments over and anypoop, I'm writing now which is
good. So I should probably talk about trip to LA that
Rosetta, Ryan, Paul, and I took on Tuesday.

I knew from the beginning that it was going to be an
awful ending. I guess that thing that tipped me off was
that the three of them were late. Our plan was to leave
around 9:30 AM but they were late by a half hour, it scared
me for like a second but then I thought about they other
time when when they gave me a ride (read WHAT TRUE
FRIENDSHIP IS)so I knew theat they were going to come.
Rosetta knocked on my door and I asked her if I should bring
my backpack and she said that no one else did so I left mine
home, too. She asked if I had the directions for the Getty
Museum that we got from our teacher Professor Abel weeks
before. Her and I went to my room while I liiked fpr them. I
got them and left. Ryan and Paul were chatting in the front,
Paul was the driver. We say our hello's and get ready to go.
Before we hit the road, we got to two gas stations, one is
for food the other for gas. After that we got on the freeway
and on our to Los Angeles. While we're on the freeway, we
listen to raiod while Ryan and Rosetta look at magazines
that sell cars and me and Paul just enjoy the ride. I
noticed that if you listen to the radio for a while, they
play the same thing on every radio stations. The best sites
that we saw was this really nice Mormon church and this huge
donut that said Randy's on it. I took a picture and said
that I am so Chinese. I mean I took a picture of a frickin'
donut. I don't know what's wrong with me. The elaspes time
of this past paragraph was three and a quarter hours.

Finally we get to the Getty around 1:15 PM. We left in
the morning and got there at noon. That's just crazy. We sit
at the big cafeteria because that's where the class is
suppose to meet at. I see Tiffany and her friends Anne and
Sarah. Anne and Sarah are in our class so they must have
invited Tiffany, well obviously. So we leave them alone and
the four of us sit and grab something to eat. All they had
were pastries, coffee, water, and these yummy fruit flavored
candies. I chose the watermelon kind. They tasted like Jolly
Ranchers but were better because as Ryan puts it, "they're
more expensive." We finally meet up with the class and start
looking around. The tour is supposed to last for three
hours, 1:30 PM to 4:30 PM! That's not even the bad part, we
go room to room, the teacher talks about what he wants to
which is like two or three paintings per room then we leave
to the next one. We can't even look at the whole room. If we
do, we get left behind. The buildings are so nice and so
clasy, I wished that we could look around more.

So then around 2:45 PM, something bad happens, when we
were looking at the Greek part of stuff, Ryan is standing by
an Eros (Cupid) statue and he gets dizzy. Rosetta takes him
outside to get some fresh air. Me and Paul stay with the
group to make sure we know where they're going and we don't
get seperated. Later, Paul and I hear where they're going so
we go check on Ry and Rosey. Ryan looks pale and Rosetta
looks really concerned. They follow me and Paul to the upper
deck and Setta gets Ryan an apple and water. We leave him
outside because he says that they room is too hot even
though, it's at a regular temp. While we are up there me and
Rosetta check if we can see Ryan down where we left him. He
wasn't there. Later on, we come to find out that he went to
the bathroom and threw up. Around 4:00 PM, Rosetta comes
back from checking on Ryan again and says that we should go
because we can't keep on going back and forth. I agree
because I'm worried about him. Luckily, we were on our one
and only break that our teacher gave us and I went to go
talk with the teacher. Paul didn't want to do it because him
and the teacher don't get along and Rosetta could never
really stand up against authority like that. Which by all
means, is understandable. So I went to talk with him and
told him that Ryan was sick and we had to take him home and
I hope that he wouldn't mind. Then he said that he did mind,
but I had to do what I had to do. Then I asked him if we had
to sign anything to prove that we were there and he said
that sign in is at 4:30, no exceptions. So basically, it was
either choose between a grade or a friend. Obviously, I
chose Ryan because I'm not going to jeopardize a best
friend's health for a good grade. So we left but before we
did I wrote down our full names and looked for Tiffany to
sign us in so we could get credit but I couldn't find her so
I looked for this big guy that Paul and I were talking to
earlier. I told him what had happened and he understood and
said that he would do it for us, no problem. So I thanked
him and ran up to the entrance where the others were at. You
see, he was down far from the entrance in this cool garden,
I wish we had time to look at it but we didn't.

So we left and on the way back, Ryan was sweating and he
got really bad chills. And way back in the bginning of the
trip, Paul was talking about going to an In N Out, and said
we should go to one because we were all pretty much hungry
and we thought it would be a good idea to get some food in
Ryan. It was funny because we we all look out-y for a In N
Out and then this commercial came on the radio for In N Out
and Paul was like come on, you're killing me and we were all
laughing. Finally, we get to the In N Out, we go order.
finally some yummy food in out stummies!!!! We were all so
hungry, Ryan was feeling a lot better so everything was
good. We were know ready for the rest of the journey home.

We are back on the road around 5:15 PM. We listen to LA
radio songs which are pretty much like San Diego. Rosetta, I
see, is starting to fall asleep so I look out the window and
just I guess, fall asleep. I looked at the clock before I
fell asleep it was 5:45. I wake up it's 6:59 PM and we are
still on the road. I try to fall back asleep but I can't so
I move my head around to adjust myself to the seat and Ryan
looks back at me and tells Paul that I'm awake. So we just
talk about our lives, school, work, people we know. Then
about 15 minutes later when I woke up, Rosetta wakes up and
she seemed kind of disoriented from the drive so we talk and
then Paul and Ryan started laughing. We asked them how long
we were asleep for and they said they didn't remember but
all they heard was snoring. Rosetta's like I don't snore and
I'm thinking I remember before I fell a asleep I snorted
like a piggy but really didn't care, all I remember is that
I wanted to crack up. It was just great. So finally, we
reach El Cajon around 7:45 and they drop me off and I'm
hella tired. It feels like it's midnight but it's barely
8:00 PM. I now understadnd why they call it the City of
Angels, because after a long ride from El Cajon to LA and
back you would rather die then do it again.

Well, later that night, I'm over at Tiffany's and she
comes and tells me that the big Guy was complaining about
signing in for us. He was saying that he's not going to sign
in and just give him the piece of paper with our names and
said that he would give it to the teacher and say that these
are the kids who talk in the back all the time. I mean if
he's complaining about helping us then maybe he should have
said I don't want to be an ass and say yes then later on
complain about anothing. I mean, I would have looked for
Tiffany a lot longer. And Plus, Tiffany told me that he gave
the people who "stuck it out" extra credit. So basically,
the big guy is complaining about signing names while
benefitting off of Ryan's ill state and our early departure
of a half hour. So then I get pissed and decide that I have
to talk with Professor Abel on Thursday to straighten
everything out.

Wednesday rolls by and not much happens. Sar and I hang
out and then I go to work, weee fun.

Thursday wasn't that bad of a day. Although, I did talk
to my teacher about the whole ordeal. I faced it alone
because the others didn't want to come in to class. They
left early luckily a I got a ride from Ann. Rosetta's car is
broke down, she should have a new one soon. So I talk with
Abel after class and I told him what happened exactly. So
everyone who spent the whole time there got 20 extra points
the four of us got 10 points which is good. I was gonna talk
to the big guy but he already left but I'm going to exchange
some words with him still when I see him on Tuesday. So
Thursday was a good day and plus no work, so yay.

Friday came along and was a pretty normal day. Oh,
except my crazy biology teacher yelled at Hillary and her
friends from Tuscon who were visiting and she yells back and
it's just goes back and forth. And the outcome? Next class
one of Hillary's friends from Tuscon has to sit in the front
of the class. Hilarious!!!! Ooh! I saw Matt's nipple
rings... so hot. They were little hoops with turquiose/light
blue connect-y balls. Sarah lifted up his shirt, Thanks
Sarah I owe you one! Then at work, Sarah came to visit
because she was buying junk for school and her cat,Coby.
He's so cute. But she scared me because she yelled "Come on,
hurry up!" and I thought it was a real customer but it was
just my Jew. I left the store with six DVD's that night. I
have to beat Sarah's DVD collection she has fifty I now have
(bought some today) 41, yay! Go team Me!

Today was Saturday. I woke up took a shower and waited
for work. Today was my first day as cashier at Target and
I'm sorry but cashiers have it soooooo much easier than the
sales floor people, they complain about cashier-ing like
there's a flaw in the system. Yeah right! They don't know
hard work like us, sales floor team members. Just a little
Target rant, but I think I'm going to try to apply to Hot
Topic, I'm too cool for Target. I'm only going to quit
Target if I get the job at Hot Topic. I've always wanted to
work there since I was in 7th grade. Plus my personality
totally meshes with that place. It's weird hearing Arthur
and Target in the same sentence.

Anypoop, I'm tired it just switched from 1:59 Am to 3:00
AM, damn Spring foward clock witchery. It's the dark magicks
at work again, oh well. I need to go set all my clocks an
hour ahead, well except for my Buffy wall clock, I never
changed it since last time the hours went all crazy. Oh
well, well I'll write soon.
