Sweet darkness arise
Other half of my whole
Oh, Lord that reigns my tainted soul
The night bids for you, she cries

For you ,she has dropped her veil
Light aloft on enchanted winds
The night she is no foe , but friend
She longs to hear your victim's wail

The night so innocent, she watches not with innocence eye
Every night she watches you reap blood's harvest
Of her,I make only one humble request
That she returns you safely to me

Sweet Master of my being
She keeps you away so long , you , I so miss
Eagerly I await your return , our lovers kiss
So that I may taste what she herself has seen
