This day has gone by sooo slowwww. or so it seems. even
with a half day, school seemed to be just as long as
usual. At least i didnt have to do anything in weight
training. I hear we have to do stair exercises next
time. *gulp*
Sooooo....lemme see here, what did i do today? not much.
i've been in a bad mood today. poo on me, i'm just a
party poop. but u know what they say, every party needs a
pooper, thats why they invited me: PARTY POOPER!
*giggle* so um...yeah. anyway. went out to lunch with
dylan. i got the COOLEST frosty. it was so tiny weeny. i
was like: awe, how cute. just the right size for me. :)
dylan's so siwwy. he had abundant amounts of energy to
spare today. lol, and me with my deficite of it.
anywho, since it was a half day, i decident to pay a visit
to the crustiest ski area around, cannonsburg. (man i hate
cburg, but it was cheap today, $8!) It was nice cuz the
snow was soft, but it was real sticky since it was so
warm. so forget about going fast today buster! i did
awesome today. I was like: way to close the boarding
season on a good note erika. *applause* i have many fun
stories in my day. here is story #1: So i decide: psh, I
dont need a jacket! Its like 40 out. so i just decided
to wear a sweatshirt. seriously, u'd think after living
in michigan all this time i'd know better. I'm ashamed in
myself really. Moving right along...so its raining, and
i'm thinking, this is ok, its not cold, i can deal. then
it start slushing out, still i can take it, its a wee bit
cooler, but i'm a beast, i can take a hit. then it starts
SLEETING. and as its sleeting my clothes decide to freeze
on me. Its quite interesting to board while your clothes
dont move. It feels like one big baggy cast.....That's
really cold. PLUS, i mean cmon...its sleeting right in
your FACE. helloooo burn. its like a million needles
trying to stab out your eye. it was actually a white out
for a bit. couldnt see the hand in front of me. which is
really cool when your going down the face of Cburg, which
i just happend to be doing. Luckily not many people were
there. *phew* story #2: Today was ladies day which
entitles ladies to a ticket, lesson, and lunch all for one
happy price of $9.99 or somethin like that. which makes
for a bunch of really bad women skiers out on the slopes.
(YIPEEEEE) so the lady in front of me losses her ski, and
i the valient one, tried to save the day by rescueing this
stranded ski. Well i got the ski alright, but then the
snow got me. as i strained to sit back up, my foot
pointed down, as did my board, and cought a nice clump-o-
slow. So i went WHAP! right onto my back. I stand up,
thought the opperator had stopped the damn lift, and then
WHOA! chair dead ahead. missed my noggin by INCHES. i
saw my life flash before me, tell ya what. and THEN i got
to the top of the lift, there was the lady, waiting for
her ski. and she goes (in her english accent) "do you
have my ski? Oh bloody hell, you didnt think to bring up
my ski? how am i going to get down??" a thank you would
have been nice. after all, i DID just risk my life for
your ski. geez, british.
People are talkin snow day tomorrow. Hope so...but doubt
it. Northview is so cold hearted.
