Allegory I

One thing you'll find is I'm very cryptic in my writings.
This will be one such instance. This is to spark audience
participation. This does have something thats going on
with me in the real world, which might be easy to guess,
I'm not sure. If your good and respond, I might muster up
the bravery to tell of the true meaning of the allegory.
So now, without furter adu (sp?), on with the story.

I am in a helicopter. I am blindfolded and am laying on
the floor of the helicopter. The pressurized cabin of the
copter is a comfortable 70ºF. The helicopter is hovering
at a constant altitude far above the ground. Beside me is
a parachute. A voice starts to speak. It says "Below is
is a point of paradox. One part of it is hell, the other
heaven. One is a land of misery, the other a land of
paradise. I am giving you the choice to jump or to go
home." Which should I choose?
