SNow

Old poem I forgot to post-- brought to mind by the new
snowstorm laying down inches upon the 2 ft still in my
yard... for suburban MD thats a lot.

Watching Out my Window

The girl next door--
the one girl of three brothers
Lies to make a
snow angel.
But there is no room.
The boys have trampled
every
square inch.

The young girl in the other house
comes out to surprise the
unsuspecting
brother with a
snowball.
She makes a large
snowball
and rolls it for
hours
to make the perfect
snowman.

Only, when the time comes,
she has a magnificent
bottom third
yet no top or
middle.

She has to rely on
sibling help.

The girl from next door
that had been bored by
her brothers'
antics

Looks for another to play with.
She and an older girl spend an hour making a
glorious snow fort--
and they forget to have
the associated
war.

Now it is too late
for perfection.
The snow is melting.

I somehow lost my original snow poem, so this is one I just
wrote-- off the top of my head... it's all true!
