I went to the SMS campus at 10:00. I talked to Sarah and
Matt, both Presidential Scholars. I had an interview for
the Presidential Scholarship at 11:15. They were running
very late. The girl, two people before me, talked for
thirty minutes. It usually takes ten or fifteen. I
finally had my interview at 11:55. It was no problem. The
people were very nice and there were no hard questions.
After that, I went to the banquet room for lunch. I had
chicken, rice, vegetables, pasta, and a roll. Then a few
people gave speeches. Our table got in trouble because we
had not been released to get our food, but we went anyway.
I had a 20% off coupon for the bookstore, so I bought a
shirt there. The original plan was to stay for two nights,
but because of the snow prediction, I came straight home.
There was a stop, however, at the Russel Stover's Candies
store in Lebanon. I had free samples, I assume they were
free because the box was already opened, and got three
pieces of candy. I got a truffle elf, a milk chocolate
santa, and assorted Christmas candy. The Christmas stuff
was 75% off. I tried to stay up to watch television, but I
fell asleep.
