A few of my favorites, in order.

Meeting you face to face for the 1st time after talking for
hours and hours online.
You were standing at the bar just to the right of me
getting ready to order another drink… probably wondering if
I would show up ( like I was ). I turned your way and I
just knew it was YOU! You said ‘sherry’? and I shook my
head and said ‘Mike’? and we hugged like we had known each
other forever. You looked sweet in your unbuttoned tuxedo
shirt and black jeans. I wore your shirt because I was
cold. You stayed at my house and slept next to me like a
perfect gentleman. I kept your shirt as a reason for you
to come back.

Driving to your house for the first time at midnight ( I
didn’t know Pigeon existed before you)
You gave me directions on Yahoo and to say the least, they
weren’t good ones. I called you from my cell phone and you
stayed on the phone with me until I turned on your street
and asked me not to hit the man on the phone in the middle
of the road.
You made me breakfast the next day.

Meeting Alex (he was 2) in the morning when he came into
your bedroom. The first words I ever heard from him
were “Is that my mom”?

Standing in my garage in front of my Jetta. You were
leaning up against it and I was in front of you … we were
talking.. then we stopped and you kissed me.

Inviting you over to play poker with some of my friends.
You wore the cowboy hat and looked so damn cute with a beer
cap on the rim to mark each beer you had.
We made love that night, although a bit tanked. You asked
me to let you get your pants off next time LOL.

The 1st annual canoe trip with you and your family. If we
went to bed before 1am we had to moon. I think we stayed up
til 1:01am before we went into the tent.

You playing with the ball in my yard, hitting it with a
stick… and me kneeling down to check out my car tire.. you
hit it just right and it got me in the face. ( that was
the beginning of your accidental injuries to me )

Meeting your mom and dad at Chuckie Cheese for the first
time. Marshall was there and I thought he was a little brat
and then I found out he was your nephew and there with your
parents… LOL

Your high school reunion. I didn’t know anyone but they all
seemed so nice. You drank too much and I drove you home. (
to my house )

You showed up unexpected once when I lived on Frost Dr. I
was in the bathroom and looked out the window and saw your
car.

You spent ever Thursday with me because that was your only
free day.

to be continued....
