Today was the "decorate your door" (in 5th per) contest for
spirit week, and so that's what we did in AP Lit today.
Which, we totally won't win, cuz nobody will get it. The
theme this year (which kinda sucks) is "enchanted forest",
and right now we are studying "Heart of Darkness", (if any
of you know what that is) so of course we had to tie them
in together and make the door highly symbolic. That's what
you get for letting gifted kids do something like that. It
was actually fun to put together, and if you understand
where we are coming from, it's really awesome. At least
nobody can say we weren't unique.
