Thoughts of engagement.

We were talking about how his best friend Josh and Holly
(Josh's girlfriend) got her a promise ring and how we
thought promise rings were ridiculous and that a class ring
should just do until the engagement ring and if she really
wanted something more then to go for a long engagement.
Then we talked about long engagements and that night he
gave me his class ring. Then a week later he kept staring
at my ring finger which had his ring on it and he studied
it for like five minutes straight. Then my friend told me
that he was probably sizing it up for an egagement ring so
I'm am a little nervous about that. Then a few days later
he asks me what I am planning on doing after high school
and our futures are so similar that it's scary.
