I am not a clerk

Little blue houses

I've got two midterms tomorrow, in difficult subjects, and
what am I doing? Why, updating my online diary, of course!
I haven't written for a few days, so I suppose it's time
for an update.

I've been seriously considering switching my program from
business (with an eye towards law) to computer science. I'm
a little intimidated by what I perceive as the intensity of
that particular specialization, both in terms of the
program and its people, but I think my heart is in this.
I've enjoyed my comp. sci classes extremely so far, and I
think I've got the right kind of brain for it. I also like
the idea of it, if that makes any sense. I've got to figure
out now if it's possible and/or desireable to switch after
completing three years of a business degree.

Tomorrow I'm (probably) going to see Gilbert & Sullivan's
The Mikado. Apparently tickets are becoming scarcer, so
I'll have to show up early. I'm not desperate to see it,
but it would be an enjoyable evening.

I wrote an article for James' website, sort of a satirical
piece done in the style of a newspaper article. I thought
it was good while I was writing it, but now that it's
been "published," I can't stand to look at it. Several
people have sent e-mails saying they like it, however, so
it couldn't be that bad (even though they're mostly friends
of James or myself).

Not feeling especially creative today, so this dull entry
will have to do. Maybe when midterms are over I'll write
something worth reading.
