all ive got so far for my story......

i dont have alot written in my story yet, so im gonna put
it all in here. take a peeky when u get a chance!

Story:

“Abigail! Have you seen my cell phone lately?”
Cecelia Matthews yelled up the stairs impatiently.
“Yeah Mom, just a second, I’ll be right down,” I
ran downs that stairs so fast, that I slipped.
“Ow! My ankle!” I yelped.
“Abby, can’t you go just one day without hurting
yourself or being clumsy? I’m going to be late for work.
Again. And you know how my boss gets,” Mom said, obviously
irritated.
“It’s not my fault I’m so klutzy,” I grumbled.
I quickly forgot the pain in my ankle and ran to
give Mom her lunch and a hug.
I sighed in relief as she left. I always get self-
conscious in my perfect mother’s presence. With her pale
brown hair, flashing green eyes, olive skin and graceful
movements, it is no wonder she had been Miss California in
her younger years. I am the opposite of my mom. I am short
and thin with dark red hair and an infinite amount of
freckles. My eyes, though, are my mother’s and my best
feature. Ever since I turned thirteen, and have been
allowed to wear make-up, I have taken great care in making
them stand out.
I lazily got up and called my best friend, Natalie.
It rang six times before she picked up, right as I was
about to hang up.
“Hello? Hello? Is anyone there?” Natalie asked.
“Natalie, its Abby! Don’t hang up! Do you want to
go to the swimming pool at the Y, later on around noon?” I
asked.
“Yes!! Get me out of here! Danny is having a fit,
and Jenny is sick with the flu,” She said.
“Do you want me to ask Tyler and Andrew if they
want to come, too?” Natalie said slyly.
“Sure, if you want to,” I said casually.
I can’t fool Natalie. She knows that I have liked
Tyler since sixth grade. That’s when I first moved to
Montana. I am now in the summer between eighth and ninth
grade.
“Ok, bye!” We both said at once, and giggled.
Thank goodness I had just gone shopping with
Natalie and we had both bought new swim suits. Mine was
gorgeous and I thought it looked pretty good on me. It was
a dark green halter-top bikini with tiny white flowers on
it.
I put on my swimsuit, then sat down to the
computer. While it started up I brushed my long hair and
put it up into a ponytail. I signed into my email account.
It said “Abby, you have 3 new messages.” I clicked on
the ‘click here’ button and I looked to see who had sent me
mail. I got one from Tyler!! I’m so excited! I am torn
between calling Natalie immediately and reading the email.
I chose to read it, that way I will have something to tell
Natalie when I call her. Tyler wrote this, “Hey Abby!
What’s up with you? There is nothin’ new with me, except I
just got a new bike for my birthday, by the way thanks for
the CD, and I was just wondering if you want to go on a
bike ride with me. Maybe to Renwauld park? You can invite
Natalie for sure, because I’m going to invite Andrew, I
think there is something going on between those two if you
know what I mean, lol. Umm... Abby, there is something I
need to tell you, but I have to do it in person. Please try
your best to meet me at my house about 1:00 p.m. for the
bike ride. I will tell you then.

-Tyler”

“Omigod!” I screamed. I started dancing as if I was
on a cloud. I was in heaven! I have never run so fast to
the phone.
“Natalie!” I screamed, as she answered the phone.
“Whoa girlfriend, calm yourself! What happened,
tell me slowly,” Natalie said calmly.
“Natalie, we have a change of plans! I just checked
my email and there was an invite in it from Tyler. He wants
you and I to go with him and Andrew for a bike ride at 1:00
today, and he said he has something he needs to tell me,
except he has to tell me in person! I’m so excited!” I said
in a rush.
“I am so excited for you! I hope it is what we
think it is! What should we wear? I am going to have to
ransack my closet to look for a decent out fit,” Natalie
sung in her melodic voice.
“Natalie, why do you have to look good? Is there
something you’re not telling me?” I said suspiciously, with
a hint of sly in my voice.
“Umm, no-no-no reason. I, umm, just want to look
good in case we see some cute guys there,” Natalie
stammered.
“Whatever you say, Natalie, I know you wouldn’t lie
to your best friend in the whole wide world,” I chirped
innocently.
“Err, listen Abby, you know I’d love to chat a
little longer, but I really should start to get ready. We
only have two hours after all,” Natalie said uncertainly.
“Ok, bye, I have to go make myself look pretty,” I said
laughingly.
Then I realized she had already hung up.
I started down the stairs to my basement room. I
changed into my cutest pair of capris with the emerald
green trimming on them. I pulled a dark gray tank top out
of my dresser and put on my outfit. I thought I looked
good. I would be pretty stiff competition if we happened to
meet up with any other girls on the trail. I put on my
green Pumas, and I put up my hair into a high sloppy bun at
the top of my head. I quickly threw some dark, dark green
eyeliner, a bit of silver eyeshadow and a few smears of lip-
gloss onto my face. I put together a quick “necessities”
bag, with two bottles of water, an apple, a bag of chips,
my lip-gloss, a light sweatshirt, and an extra hair tie,
all fit compactly in a cute little sport backpack.
Altogether, this phenomenon took about an hour.
