Muse on death

So bored right now.

My friend is having a hard time - her grandmother had a
stroke on Wed and is now in the hospital almost near death -
I can't comfort her because literally I don't have a care
for her grandmother
Strange huh I don't have a caring feeling for others
She cried and cried and worries and cringes and yet I have
nothing to say to comfort her b/c I can't think of anything
to say and
almost slipped and let out "Well these things happen" but
that would be too bad wouldn't it
She is 94 and my friend worries ... I don't care if she is
94, there are babies dying and others blowing themselves up
or so I am told, and yet why does a 94-year-old dying woman
take our sympathies
Just reading today in the newspaper of a child who was
murdered on the street, I feel no emotion for that as well
Something along the lines of a parental kidnapping gone
wrong
Trying to quell the boredom, watched A Beautiful Mind but
only made it through the first 90 m; I hate these type of
movies, Oscar tripe I believe I call them; mere vanity
projects made for actors/directors/whatever to get an Oscar
Quench emotion from the audience, I hate it...reminds me of
the blood commercials on TV where a woman moans how if we
do donate blood her baby shall die
Pitiful
Made it through the Golden Globes last night to hear Bono
from U2 say fuck-proud day for TV. Lara Flynn Boyle's wore
a tutu; Sharon Stone was obviously on drugs as she came in
her bondage bodice..
I recommend the movie Rat Race for all out there, I laughed
so long and so hard; it was truly a great movie.
