Proud to be....

...an American.

Wow.. Ok, I'm pretty sure that I can safely say September
11th, 2001 is a date that will go down in the United States
History books.. and will be remembered forever. I can look
back one day and tell my grandkids, "Yeah.. I was 18 years
old and I was at work at the day care downtown when I heard
about the attack..."

Everyone knows what happened today.. I dont know how anyone
couldn't. I mean, it was on practically every TV/radio
station in the nation all day today. The terrorist attacks
in NYC and Washington were devestating today. I'm not gonna
get into it a lot cause well, I'm kinda burnt out on it:)
I'll just say that when President Bush said we have to
punish those terrorists and the people who harbor them... I
was happy. Calling them "faceless cowards" was a nice touch
as well:) Yay.. go Dubya! But, as for my opinion on the
country's future. Many people fear the worst.. some say
this is the beginning of the end.. but not me. As a matter
of fact, I think that now that we actually have a leader
with some good values and morals.. a president who
apparently does Bible studies in the White House.. God will
continue to bless this country. The devil, on the other
hand, will continue to try and bring us down.. in many
ways.. like that which was displayed today, but he will
never succeed. I have faith.. God will take care of us, I
know he will:)

So.. I have the day off tomorrow. Cleaning. Yeah. I'm doing
it again. It's ok tho. I like it.

Amy called me today and we talked for about an hour. I luv
her. I miss her. Oddly enough, she's pretty much the only
one on my mind from school these days. She's coming home
this weekend. I can't wait to see her:) We're going to CJ
Maggies.. for chicken arms of course.
