Blue Castle reverie
It's been a few days since I've written, but by way of
explanation, my grandparents were here, and we keep our
computer in the guest bedroom... mainly because we almost
never have guests!
I got to "practice driving" today; I drove my dad on the
hour commute to his office to pick up some stuff. I really
hate driving. I can count on my fingers the number of times I've
driven. It's kind of sad, actually. I'm almost 17,
and I've only had my lisence for about a month... and I
really shouldn't have gotten it then. Another example of
the sad state of our DMV's. I was given two tasks on my
driving test: drive around the cones, and parallel park.
I missed the last cone, and totally messed up parallel parking (but
give me a break on that one, I learned how to parallel park in a 2-
door car, and I took my driving test in a mini-van...). And the
people there were really horrible!! The examiner in the car was
trying to be funny or something, and told me I failed. Then the lady
behind the counter said it was too bad I failed. Then she asked me
if I wanted to be an organ donor. I went "whuu-huuu-yeeea". I
didn't realize I had actually passed until 10 minutes later. I'm
still not sure how. But at any rate, i am a lisenced driver, for
whatever that is worth.
