My grass ain't so brown..

Caughlin's Law: "Anything else is always something better.."

Why is it, do you think, that the grass is always (never
say always.. or never.. oh dear, double whammy there..)
greener on the other side of the fence?

And is it *really* greener.. is the grass on my side
*really* so brown in comparison?

People living alone are lonely.. people living with others
crave solitude..

You've got straight hair.. you want curly.. and vice versa.

You live in Australia (though loving it..) you want to live
OS.. and others OS are dreaming of living in Oz.

So.. what's wrong with my grass?? And is yours really
juicier, greener, more lush than mine? (We're talking
figuratively.. ;)

Is it merely a case of 'familiarity breeds contempt'?

Personally, I think it's a bit of that.. mixed with a dash
of yearning for the unknown.. added with the fact that on
the other side of the fence.. you're only shown the best
bits. Naturally.. so you think it's perfect and flowing
with milk and honey. :)

So I look at my grass.. and yes, I see weeds (relationships
that I have yet to mend.. character flaws yet to be
addressed (me.. flawed? surely not! heheh..) and I spy some
dry patches (just needing to relight the fires within..)
and I see parts that are overgrown and places where even I
dare not venture.. (my relationship with my dad.. my
questions about my faith..)

But all in all.. I like my grass. I love my garden. It is
me.. and as such, it's up to me to nurture it. Make it the
place I want to be. Help it grow greener. Feed it with all
the beauty and wonder of the world. Do what makes my heart
sing! Outshine the grass on the other side of the fence. :)

Because, after all.. people on the other side of the fence
are looking at me.. and wishing they could come camp on my

And I don't blame them.. 'cause my grass ain't so brown
after all.. :)

He's home... :) What a wonderful surprise!! I am sooo
happy to hear his voice again..

When his sms came through.. the one that I totally and
utterly adored.. :) I had my mobile in the pocket of my
jeans and it was during the worship at church.. lol I
enjoyed the buzzing and vibrating (not for any sexual but because I knew it was him.. :) and I
slowly took my mobile out.. to read it. And then smiled a
slow, sentimental, secretive smile.. a bit like Mona Lisa..
only much less subtle.. lol

Thank you.. you made my day. You truly made my day. :)

And I shall *see* you soon.. can't wait!!
