Pan & Boone

Today I went to see a play and go on to work in a workshop.
The workshop was real fun. Only eight people were there and
it was pretty damn cool. Anita, Annia, Mary, Kim, Kasia,
Allison, and Ann. Yeah, I got all their names down.
It was practically all of these people that did the
workshop. Alot of people from freestreet wanted to do it,
but they couldn't. I was hoping some more people would be
there. Anita and I were talking about how it's intereting
that everyone in our group is connecting so well, but we
don't really know each others names. Quite funny. I know
Anita, Ron, Antar, Heather, Jasmine, Vincent, Tim, Alicia,
and I don't really remember anyone else's name. Not all of
them are just part of the company, I can't really tell who
is in the company and who is in the workshop. Three of them
are in charge. Although I'm not to sure what one of them
really does in there. Doesn't show up all the time, and
don't know what the hell is his piece in this. I just can't
put it together. He was there with Ron and Anita in front
of me while I was doing my audition. He comes ...

Well enough about that. I'll find out eventually. Till
then, let's get back with what happened tonight...

The workshop was great. We did some excersices. Some stuff
was new to me, and later we did this thing called
a "composition," which I love to do. (Since maybe yesterday
when I first find out what it is.) We were to create a
little show like thing including a bunch of ingredients as
they call it. The one my group did had to do with growing
up. Which connected great with the performance. I hope I
never forget it, because it was (for lack of a better
word,) the perfect visual of abstract theatre in accordance
to what I'm going through right now. (Mainly with Teresa,
and friendships in general.)

WE WERE SET UP AS IF TO FORM THE PERFECT PICTURE. (AS
THOUGH POSING FOR THE CREATION OF THAT PERFECT FAMILY, OR
IN MY CASE, BEST FRIENDS, PICTURE.) THE SECOND BEFORE THE
PICTURE IS TO BE TAKEN THOUGH, WE ALL BREATHE IN AT THE
SAME TIME, AND AFTER WE EXHALE, WE GO INTO POSES OF WHAT WE
WERE LIKE IN OUR CHILDHOOD. 1 GIRL WAS SAD, 1 WAS READING,
1 COULDN'T REACH THE LIGHT SWITCH, AND I WAS JUST OBSERVING
EVERYTHING. WE STRUCK 3 POSES ALL PERTAINING TO THESE
CHARACTERISTICS IN OURSELVES, BEING CONNECTED ALL AT THE
SAME TIME. DURING THIS WE KEPT REPEATING UNCERTAINLY "who
we are." THEN WE HUDLED TOGETHER AND SCREAMED "isolation."
THEN WE WHISPERED "footsteps," AS WE STARTED TAKING LITTLE
SLOW FOOTSTEPS BACK, SOMEWHAT WAVING TO EACH OTHER. WE THEN
ALL FACED FRONT IN A DIAMOND SHAPE. HUDLED DOWN WITHIN EACH
OTHER, CURLED OUT, AND AT OUR OWN PACE, IN OUR OWN VOICE,
WE EACH SAID WHEN WE WERE READY: "Who we are." CERTAINLY
THIS TIME.
We separated in order to find out who we are. It was sweet,
short, and when it comes to what I'm going through right
now, the perfect interpretation. It was suppose to be a
whole different thing, but I guess isolation is a big part
of finding out "WHO WE ARE."

The play was of the playwright's past. His favorite
character was Peter Pan. His brother's was Daniel Boone.
They had an on going joke about that in their family. So 7
years ago he wrote about it. How they seemed to really be
these characters. Everything that happened seemed to be in
a sense of a dream, in the view of the father telling the
boys a bedtime story of Pan and Boone. Pan was younger, and
his brother started drifting from him within the
nightmares. They kept dreaming of that uncle of theirs that
commited suicide. Pan was too young to comprehend it. Which
is kinda funny, cause he comprehends it as soon as Boone
leaves. He's alone in his next nightmare, and he begins to
fly. No longer scared of that extension cord that his
grandfather hung himself on.

So tomorrow I have to tutor French and teach English.
Super. I need to remember a few things though. Mr. Dongus
needs to sign my permit to go see the beard of avon, and I
need to remember to take that paper from tutoring, to
turoring.

I'm almost done with the Vampire Lestat. About 3 more hours
I think, and I'll be done. Had I done those 3 hours last
night, it would have helped. But I didn't want to read
anymore. I was too tired. Now I'm just gonna finish the
section, or chapter, and go to sleep. (Also make myself a
sandwich or salad, since I wanna cut back on coffee, and
save up some money for that massage course.) I think it
would be really cool on tour, if someone just says, "hey,
I'm sore," and I'll say: "Lay down I'll give you a massage.
Don't worry, I have a diploma in this." (They would all be
lining up and that would be cool, cause I like that kind of
popularity. I like to feel needed, and I like it when I
make others, close to me happy.)

On that note:
Goodnight to all, and
to all a great night
