8th Day of Hiding,Y3 (August 8th)

I finally convinced Jenny that we needed to open a shop of
our own. I have been speaking with other neopets, and they
have told me all of the wonderful things that owning a shop
can do. Not only will our shop be filled with glorious
items, but Jenny will have more money to spend on the
closest pet to her heart- me! ^_^

She was unsure, at first, but I hopped over to her,
fluttering my blue wings gently. I looked up at her, my
eyes wide and innocent, and I asked again. My dear friend
could not resist my pleadings, and she quickly gave in to
my wish.

We went out at once to buy our space, and set up a stall.
We picked out the wares that we were going to sell, and
that left two more things to be done. As Jenny and I were
always exploring the lands, we wouldn't be able to run the
shop ourselves. We would needed someone to look after it in
our stead.

Many pets and people came to offer their help and services.
But, alas, I could not chose them all. I decided upon a
young elven lad, whose name he told me was Arion. He looked
honest and trustworthy. Loyal, as well. And I knew that he
wouldn't stand for the dishonesty of the shoplifters who
sometimes tried to steal from unsuspecting shops.

With our shopkeeper chosen, all that was needed was a name.
Jenny left the name up for me to decide, for she said that
it was my right, as the shop had been my idea. I thought up
many possible names, and discarded each one just as
quickly. At last, I found the perfect name. The Diverse
Realm, is what our shop is now named. For I hope that a
variety of items will be able to be found beneath our roof.

And more good news! I lost my first tooth! I was scared at
first, when it came out. But Jenny hugged me, and told me
that there was nothing to be afraid of. And, she told me
that the Tooth Faerie would offer neopoints in exchange for
the tooth. I'd heard of the Tooth Faerie, but I had never
seen her in person. She was beautiful, and kind, and I
would have given her my tooth for free. But she just
laughed, and replied that she couldn't take my first tooth
without giving something in return. So, the Tooth Faerie
gave me 186 neopoints! It was exciting, to be sure!
