Andrea's CKI (and other) Stuff
2002-10-18 02:41:33 (UTC)

Ok, so I broke our date

Alright, so instead of keeping our date last night, I
decided to write a Bioethics paper instead. Bad me.

Anyway, so this week has been brimming with Circle K.
Monday I was planning on printing out my Presidents Parrot-
odicals (I know, I know) and sending them off, but I
thought, "Hey, I should write the board and ask them if
there is anything I could add in there for them". So, FIVE
emails later, I have another two pages of stuff to fit into
this 2-page newsletter. Needless to say I spent ALL DAY
Monday changing my entire newsletter. Oh well. Thank God I
already had my Tuesday homework done. So the newsletters
were printed out and sent after lunch on Tuesday. I got
some help from my girl Diega in the Physics Dept. to get
all the copies for free. Love that girl, she's awesome.

The rest of Tuesday afternoon was spent printing out tons
of materials for the JCU CKI meeting that night. It was
midterms week, so there were alot of people not there, but
I did get another person to sign up for MAC. That'll be 12.
Oh, and the girls from the sorority that were having their
initiation that weekend couldn't get it changed, so I have
a feeling 12 will be the magic number. Not too shabby. We
also have almost 30 paid members now, so I am way excited.
Ten more to go until the club goal is reached, and only 20
more until my personal goal is reached! :) After the
meeting as you read before, I got an email from a board
member that really disturbed me. Apparently it was just a
misunderstanding in duties, because after I sent her the
her and I's job descriptions from the CKI Officers Manual,
she was much nicer to me about it. WHEW. I was pretty
worried about that.

Wednesday... Well, since so many members missed the
meeting, I sent an agenda and all other handouts from the
meeting to all the club members who missed it. Yeah, that
was alot. I didn't really realize how many active members
we had. WOW. ANYWAY... I was a couple agendas short, so I
went and printed some more and finished the packets up and
addressed them. I also sent the secretary's minutes to
everyone before class. Went to class, lunch, class, then
had a meeitng with the assistant dean, went to work for an
hour, and then went to the Shaker Family Center with Ryan
and Susan for two hours. We all had dinner together
afterwards. Good times. Got back to my room, did tons of
random stuff, talked to Steve C. and Brandi on the phone,
and also wrote a personal invitation to anyone we haven't
seen at JCU's meetings/projects since the Organization Fair
or Open House. I know, I am sick.

Thursday I went and printed out 350 "Size Does Matter"
flyers, went to class, lunch, and then dreadful dreadful
four hour lab. Shoot me now. Got back, addressed all the
invitations, wrote a few emails, watched "Friends"
and "Will & Grace" with Sarah, thought about how much I
really needed to do laundry (but of course I didn't),
ignored two fire alarms because they are a waste of time,
and then apologized to Jordan for not being able to talk to
him a whole lot. He seems to be putting up with that alot
lately. I love him, I feel so awful when I do this. Its
almost like he's getting used to it, isn't that sick?
Alright, enough of my bitching, and back to "ER". :)

Tomorrow morning is Tae-Bo time, then shower, then off to
Kent to pick up Gary, and then off to Syracuse. Good Lord,
I can't wait to see Jordan.

Catch you all next week. :)
