I'm a girl, not a band!!!
Okay, well, I am awake, and I don't know why. I should be
sleeping, and I'm exausted, but here I am, a computer
addict and reading the journals of other people. Well, I
just found one and it had a GEM of a paragraph. I agree
1000000000% with the statements. If you don't, well too
bad. So, without further ado, here is what I stole and am
passing off as mine (not really, but I do believe it! It'd
work for me!)
"I'm going to let you guys in on a big secret here, so
listen up. The absolute surest way to get in a girl's
pants is to tell her that she's better than her friends.
Better = prettier, funnier, smarter, etc. I would suggest
telling every girl that she's pretty. But if the girl
actually IS pretty, focus more on personality traits
(smart, funny). If the girl's not so cute, focus on looks.
Every pretty girl wants people to think she's smart, and
every smart girl wants people to think she's
pretty...that's just how it works. And it's not enough to
just tell her that she's cool--you have to tell her that
she's cooler than everyone else she's with. Act sincere,
and make sure her friends don't hear it. We love our
friends, but we're constantly secretly competing with
them. We really do want the best for them, but we want
better for ourselves. It's true. We're petty and selfish,
we just hide it well (usually). None of this may come as a
surprise to some of you, but if I helped at least one
individual, then it's all worthwhile. "
*laughing but crying and nodding*
So damn true.
