So much for dinner guests.

It has proven true that you shouldn't invite your neighbors
over for dinner the day before they are moving. I took a
nap around 3:30 because I was tired, slept longer than I
wanted and woke up at 6:30 or so. Dinner still wasn't
ready, and my neighbors have their own little "party" at
their house right now. A bunch of people are gathered on
the porch. So now it's 7 o'clock, and dinner was made
for "just the kids" which of course had to include me. And
the neighbors are ordering pizza...and my mom already made
this big fuss about cleaning the house today, made this
HUGE macaroni salad which I only eat to make her feel good,
and Kevin is busy making his fish that is really good.

Not that I'm mad because they aren't coming over. That
doesn't bother me at all. It's just that we made this huge
fuss for nothing I guess. And that dinner was postponed for
so long. I was getting hungry. But oh well. My belly is
full. My mom took the food next door. Patti & Bill are
leaving tomorrow. Wonder if they will come back to visit.
Hmmm...oh well, gotta go for now. Let my tummy settle. More
later maybe.
