as much as i hate rainy days, they do, at times, bring a
ray of sunshine into my life.

wash away the worries
pour away the pain
just take a walk
around the block
through the sprinkling rain

drown away the daymares
flood away the fears
let a run down the street
take away anger's heat
through the healing tears

splash away the sorrows
cleanse away the cares
leap in a puddle
or better a mud hole
through the cooling layers

rinse away the wrongdoings
squish away the sins
jog away from defeat
to gain some release
through the trickling pins

wash away the worries
pour away the pain
just take a walk
around the block
through the sprinkling rain
