Title? Um, What should I call it?

Madison Avenue

Madison Avenue, tear down your Magnus opus!
(You池e really good at that sort of thing, you know!)
Peel away the makeup,
The fancy clothes, the hair,
And all of the expensive jewelry,
And what are you left with?
All I see is emptiness.

Time, work your magic!
Take away the trim waistline,
The sex appeal, and the charisma,
And what do you have left?
Nothing but shallowness.

Fame, thine fifteen minutes are up!
Soon the money you致e earned
Will be spent on useless trinkets of your success
And look how the popularity runs!
For after all, isn稚 a fool
And his money soon parted?
And once the dough is gone,
All that痴 left is hollowness.

For the measure of a man
Is not his paycheck or his looks,
But what is within his heart.
For Beauty fades,
Money disappears,
Popularity eventually dims,
and Lust evaporates .
So, what is truly left
After everything else is stripped away?
Only Faith, Hope, and Charity.

But, alas, this world is full of vanity,
And Vanity has become their god.
