Life is to Death

September 5 - 10:28 PM

I've decided that I need to start writing again. I think
that it did me a lot of good, and I kind of need to do
myself some good again.

So I was listening to this talk radio show coming home from
school this afternoon. It was quite interesting, because
this dude *really* thought that our nation... nay, our
entire world is under demonic control. Let me reiterate
this analogy he used. I guess there was some kid last
Halloween that decided to play a trick on his friends by
pretending to hang himself in front of them all. Well, he
tied the rope around his neck and jumped... but something
went wrong, and he actually choked to death (yea, and I'll
come back and comment on this in a second). So anyway, this
guy was saying that story is an analogy to our lives today.
We're all playing with death and with Satanic ideas, and
the noose is slowly tightening around our throats. His big
argument was that children these days have completely
forgotten about God, and instead have turned to Satan for
guidance right into hell.

MAN that makes you feel good about yourself, huh?

Well, here are my thoughts. First off, I never quite
understood this "accident" thing. If this kid actually tied
a rope around his neck and jumped off of a balcony, or
whatever it was... is it just me? That doesn't exactly seem
like an accident. Maybe there was something more.

Second, I find it extremely (insert some word I can't think
of here) to accuse today's youth of actually turning
towards Satan. Could it be that children these days are
actually starting to question if there is a God at all?
Society has changed dramatically from the time that it was
second nature to worship God and to closed-mindedly follow
those beliefs. There is a difference between choosing to
follow Satan and choosing to follow no one at all.

My keyboard is pissing me off, so I'm going to end there.
Maybe once it's fixed I'll come back and add to this little
entry so it can actually make sense. OR maybe not.

Probably the latter.
