It's Funny, I'm Laughing

Mood: crappy
Music: "Oogie Boogie's Song" from Nightmare Before
Christmas

I haven't written in a few days cos I haven't really felt
like it. I haven't actually done anything over these past
few days. Well, yesterday I went job shopping, but besides
that, nothing.

I'm so glad that I'm not going to university right now.
I'm glad i don't have to deal with all that bullshit. All
I want to do this year is work, to, y'know, pay my dues
and all that. I know I could make it in university, but I
want to prove that I can work, too.

I'm gonna apply at Roger's tomorrow morning. I picked up
an application yesterday, filled it out, and decided to go
when I'd be able to actually talk with the manager. I know
they're not hiring, but trust me, I'm getting a job there.
I NEED a job there.

So, yeah, yesterday, me, Jenn and Katie hung out all
friggin' day. Me and Katie dropped off resumes and
had "interviews" at the Dollar Store; Katie's working
today, I have no job. *sobs* I was really bummed. I'm not
so much now, because I'd hate to work all by myself
anywhere, but still; I need work, and I can't be too picky.

Anyways, yeah; me and Katie went to CD Plus first, where I
bought The Best Of The Velvet Underground. it was a great
Cd, although I forgot it (and the old White Stripes CD
that Jenn burned for me) in the car. After CD Plus, we
went with Katie's mom to pick out new glasses. Then we
went to the Dollar Store, then to get groceries, then to
Roger's to rent the movie version of Hair, then to Tim
Hortons. We finished the afternoon off by going to Katie's
for supper.

We had chilli-dogs. It's odd, that even though my dad
cooks both chilli and hot dogs on a semi-regular basis,
we've never had chilli dogs. They were alright, although I
felt like puking afterwards.

After supper, me, Katie and Jenn went to Mic Mac to HMV,
where i bought Jeff Buckley's "Live At Sin-e", and Jenn
bought The Hives' new CD, although I no idea what it's
called. After the mall, we went over to Halifax on the
ferry to see Monique. We were there for maybe five
minutes, and then we had to go catch the ferry again, cos
we had to pick up Sarah from work at ten o'clock. It was
almost hilarious. We picked up Sarah from Value Village,
then dropped her off, and went to Katie's for a sleep-
over. At about 3 in the morning, I decided to go home and
sleep on my own friggin bed, cos... well, just cos.

And then today... well, I didn't do anything today.

And that was life over the past three days. Hurrah.

I just downloaded Jeff Buckley's videos for "Grace", "So
Real" and "Last Goodbye". I was kind of suprised that he
even had videos for these songs. The "So Real" and "Last
Goodbye" videos are alright, but I really like the "Grace"
one.

Oh, look; Access Hollywood, one of those incredibly vain
and unimportant entertainment shows, is interviewing that
Greta bitch from Fox and Paul McCratney about their
thoughts on 9/11. As if anything they have to say matters.
I hate how people try to explain September 11th as if they
themselves understand what it was that happened. Frig.

Well, I'm cranky, so I'm gonna go. Bye.
