somethin wierd.

Do you ever play the piano for someone? Like in the back of
your head you're thinking of someone you're kind of
dedicating the piece to. And even though you don't ever
plan to play it for them, you still pretend you are playing
it to them?
sometimes i do that. like if I feel the piece expresssec a
particular emotion i feel for or towards someone, I'll be
think of them ,or hink of playing it for them and then
telling them what it mean to me about them or how it
comvays how I feel. and I know that I owuld never have the
nerve to play it for them an explaine it, but I still do it
in my head.
I was sight reading through a piece the other day...and I
got to a part in it and it sounded very familiar. I had
never played it before nor did I hear it on the radio.
after playing it over agan for a while I realised that my
dad used to play it when i was young, then came a rush of
memories.
Funny how music can do that......
But there are some pieces you need people for. like
Moonlight Sonata is for my dad.
Clair de Lune, I play for 2 people, one is my mom because
my dad used to play it for her and the other is my secret.
parts of Beethovan #17 I play to my step-dad cause it's an
angry song.

some songs are so sad they make me cry other make me happy
and others still anger me...yet I love them all. I love
they way that music is like poetry...I love the way it can
say what I feel without ever saying a word
